Ivory leopard tortoise for sale are a rare color morph of the leopard tortoise, Pardalis Babcocki.  The traditional East African leopard tortoise for sale, from time to time can be dominantly Ivory, or “high white” in color.  Some call these “snow leopard tortoises, or a snow leopard tortoise, however, the realistic name is ivory.  These are not to be confused with another Ivory tortoise, the Ivory Suclata tortoise.  The Sulcata tortoise for sale is also from Africa, though it is not related in species or subspecies to the leopard tortoise or Giant South African leopard tortoise.

When first hatched, these little buggers are pure ivory.  As they mature they start to look more like a normal leopard tortoise, and then the magic happens.  Once they start to mature, the growth in between all of their scutes comes in pure white, or Ivory in color.   Once mature 85% of the shell is ivory!    Ivory leopard tortoise are rare and therefore a bit more expensive of a tortoise to own.

Ivory Leopard Tortoise Habitat and Cage setup

Baby Leopard Tortoise Available A Leopard does very well whether they are living indoors or outdoors.  Inside, consider building or purchasing a tortoise table style enclosure. 

Alternatively, provide an outside tortoise habitat in areas where the temperature does not dip below 55 degrees at any time.  Secondly, a pair of adult leopard tortoises for sale can be kept in a 4 foot by 8-foot setup or tortoise table.  Lastly, it is important that the walls are a solid material so the tortoise cannot see thru them. 

Because of this and for that reason, aquariums are normally not recommended. 

Basically, do not use them unless the walls can be covered. So the animals cannot see through them.  Also, you should make sure the tortoise table walls are at least 16-18″ tall and can be made of wood.
